"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age" (Matthew 28:19, 20).
In America it is all too easy to become obsessed with yourself. The trap is to go and seek a successful job and settle down with a wife and have "2.5" kids. But it seems that that goal is kind of empty . . . doesn't it? So then one might decide to find a way to change the world but then become forgotten. In the end whatever man tries feels empty and broken--no matter how hard he tries: he ends up dead (every time). Maybe we should be more focused on the point, that is, God (I prefer to call him Yahweh). So let us not forget the "great commission." As Christians we have a light that the world does not have. Let it shine.
